Regional Account Manager - Yorkshire and The Humber

Job description

We’re a bunch of self-motivated individuals in the Regional Account Managers team, with specialist knowledge in the education and apprenticeship sectors.  We love a challenge and enjoy seeing the results of our hard work through the growth of our company.  We’re autonomous, based independently across the regions, but enjoy meeting up once a month in London to review targets/achievements and to look at the opportunities that are to come for the rest of the year.

What exactly will you be doing? 

As a Regional Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for the growth of AAT student numbers in your region.  You’ll need to identify and win business with bringing new Training Providers on board to deliver our qualifications as well as maintain and develop relationships with existing Training Providers.

You’ll be tasked with gaining a complete understanding of the various opportunities and issues prevalent in your region and communicate your market knowledge within AAT. 

Understanding the learning and training landscape both nationally and regionally will be important also as will the identification of and engagement with various new stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

You’ll have a strong focus on maintaining and developing relationships and a solution based approach. This role requires excellent teamwork across AAT to ensure a coordinated approach to all AAT activities as we are all working to provide an excellent service to our stakeholders.  The role is situated remotely so it is important you are outcome focused and possess strong self-management skills.

What experience would it be good to have?  

You’ll need to be able to pitch yourself to us in an interview and demonstrate your sales cycle methods and achievements.  Couple this with knowledge and experience in the educational sector and you will be good to go.
