Regional Account Manager - London

Job description

Our Business Development Team has recently been revamped! We’re looking for 3 experienced business development professionals to join our newly revamped team of Regional Account Managers (RAMs). Our RAMs are critical to the organisation, working strategically with training providers and employers across our regions to increase AAT student numbers and grow provision across the UK.


We’re a team of self-motivated individuals in the UK Regional Account Management team, who enjoy a challenge and seeing the results of our hard work. 


We have 3 vacancies in the team who will be operating in the London area. The London area is divided into 3 key areas – London Central, London North, London South. 


What exactly will you be doing?

As a Regional Account Manager, you’ll have accountability of a specific UK region. You’ll strategically manage our training providers and work closely with senior decision makers to maintain and grow their AAT provision.

You’ll also be responsible for identifying regional growth opportunities and winning new business from viable new training providers. In addition, you’ll support and engage local employers and your network to increase demand for AAT products. There are KPIs to achieve as a Regional Account Manger which are specific to your role and responsibilities.


In this role you’ll be tasked with gaining a complete understanding of all our products and how they work within the current and changing education landscape to meet the needs of all stakeholders.


You’ll primarily be based from home, reporting into the Business Development Manager – South and will come into the London Head Office at least once a month to meet with your team and wider AAT colleagues.


Due to the nature of the role, you’ll hold a full, clean driving license and be happy to travel on a regular basis. 

Requirements

What experience would it be good to have?

We want to hear from experienced business development professionals who are able to demonstrate their sales cycle methods, account management experience and achievements in order to meet key targets. You’ll also have experience of maintaining and developing relationships with a solution based approach.


Based from home, you’ll need to manage your work schedule effectively to ensure required outcomes are achieved and that you are able to provide an outstanding service to all stakeholders. Couple this with excellent knowledge and experience in the education sector, and you’ll be good to go.

  • Salary of circa £48,000 if based outside of London and circa £50,000 if based inside of London
